Post Name:-
There are 29 vacancies for the post of Junior Reporter.

 Junior Reporter

Education Qualification:-
(i) Must have passed Plus 2 with Tamil as one of the Subjects.
(ii) Must have passed Government Technical Examination in English Shorthand by Higher Grade / Senior Grade (120 w.p.m).
(iii) Must have passed Government Technical Examination in English Typewriting by Higher Grade / Senior Grade (45 w.p.m).
(iv) Candidates for appointment as Junior Reporters by transfer should possess the minimum general educational qualification and should have passed the Government Technical Examination in English Shorthand by the Higher Grade and Typewriting English by Higher Grade.
(v) Working knowledge in Tamil Shorthand is required.
(vi) Candidates should acquire the certificate course in Computer on Office Automation Course within their probation period. However, the candidate should possess sufficient working knowledge of computer in the day to day functioning of Office.

Age Limit:-
1. SC / ST / SC(A) – 18 years to 35 years
2. BC / BC(M) / MBC/DNC – 18 years to 32 years
3. “Others” [i.e. Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DNCs, BCs, and BCMs] – 18 years to 30 years
4. For service candidates – Must not have completed the age of 45 years. No upper age limit for SC / ST candidates.

Note:-
The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.

Salary: –
1. Junior Reporter – Rs.36,200 – 1,14,800/-

1. Skill test (Shorthand dictation)
2. Oral Test
