The Indian Postal Department has announced that 04 vacancies have been reserved for the post of Staff Car Driver.
1. Coimbatore – 02
2, Erode – 01
3. Nilgiris – 01
Education Qualification:-
1. Candidates must have passed 10th standard from government recognized educational institutions.
2. Along with this, it is mentioned that the candidates who are working in the post of Dispatch Rider (Group C) in the postal department are eligible to apply for this job as per Pay matrix Level-01 as per 7th CPC.
3. Must have at least 3 years driving experience in Light and Heavy motor vehicles.
4. Also driving license for Light and Heavy motor vehicle is mandatory.
5. It is said that it will be better if the candidates know Motor Mechanism for this job.
Age Limit:-
The maximum age limit for the candidates applying for the above job is 56 years. Candidates must be under 56 years of age.
Salary: –
Selected employees will be paid at least Rs.19,900/- per month as per Pay matrix Level-02 as per 7th CPC. And the additional amount applicable for this work can be found in the notification.
Selection Process:-
Candidates are expected to be selected based on merit through Trade test or Driving test. It is also mentioned that the candidates will be recruited through Absorption / Deputation mode.
