According to the recent notification, it has been informed that a total of 24 vacancies have been allocated for the post of Passport Officer, Deputy Passport Officer.
Passport Officer – 1 Posts
Deputy Passport Officer – 23 posts
Education Qualification:-
Passport Officer – holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or (ii) with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-11 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and a recognized University or Institute (ii) Nine years experience in Passport Consular or Emigration Administration Finance (b) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience: (i) Bachelor’s degree from and Accounts or Vigilance work or Public Grievances,
Deputy Passport Officer – (a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or (ii) with five years service in Level 10 of the pay matrix rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; and (b) possessing the following educational qualifications and (i) Bachelor’s degree from a experience recognized University or Institute; and (ii) Five years experience in Passport or Consular or Emigration Administration or Finance or or Accounts or Vigilance work or Public Grievances.
Age Limit:-
The maximum age limit for the candidates who want to apply for this job is 56 years. Please refer to the official notification for relaxations in age limit.
Salary: –
It has been informed that the selected candidates will be paid on the basis of performance.
Passport Officer – Rs. 78,800 – Rs. 2,09,200/-
Deputy Passport Officer – Rs. 67,700 – Rs.2,08,700/-
