The announcement said that there are 02 vacancies for Lab Technician posts in the University of Madras
1.Lab Technician – 02 Vacancies
Educational Qualification:-
MRU-03: Lab Technician (2 Posts-UR) – 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Lab technology or Life Sciences with Diploma/ Certificate course in Clinical Lab technology or equivalent degree from a recognized University with minimum 1 year of working experience in a clinical/ research laboratory.
Desirable Qualification: Masters in Clinical Lab technology or in life sciences from a recognized University Knowledge of Computer Applications/ Data Management.
Age limit:-
Age limit as given in the table above, relaxation up to 5 years given for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidate’s accordance with the DHR guidelines.
Salary:-
For all the mentioned posts monthly pay (Rs. 20,000/- + HRA) will be given as per the DHR guidelines. For more information visit www.dhr.gov.in. All the posts were on contractual basis for the period of 4 years based on performance. All the employees are not provided with any pension benefits or other allowances. The guidelines of DHR will be strictly adhered whenever updated.
Selection process:-
On the merit basis preliminary screening will be done and qualified candidates will be called for personal interview at Dr. A.L.M Post Graduate Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Chennai. Selection will be purely based on merit as per the DHR guidelines. Interview call letters will be sent ONLY by e-mail. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for attending the interview. Decision of the selection committee is final.

Duly filled in application in the prescribed format along with other documents has to be sent ONLY by POST to The Nodal Officer, MRU. Dr. A.L.M. Post Graduate Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Madras, Taramani, Chennai – 600113 on or before the closing date (02.03.2022 up to 05.00 pm).
Incomplete applications or applications without copies of qualifying certificates will be summarily rejected.
