Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Recruiting Office (Headquarters), Chennai from 15 Nov 2022 to 25 Nov 2022 at Police Recruit School, Vellore, Tamil Nadu to enroll eligible “Agniveers” into the Army from 11 districts of Tamil Nadu i.e. Vellore, Tirupattur, Ranipet, Viluppuram, Kallakurichi, Chennai, Cuddalore, Tiruvannamalai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram & Chengalpattu and Puducherry district of UT of Puducherry in Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical, Agniveer Tradesman 10th pass and Agniveer Tradesman 8th pass categories. Education Qualification:-
1. Agniveer (General Duty) (All Arms) – Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system, minimum of ‘D’ Grade (33%- 40%) in individual subjects or grades with 33% in individual subjects and overall aggregate of ‘C2’ grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.
Note:Â Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.
Minimum Physical QR:
Height (CM):Â 166
Weight (KG):Â Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standard given at para 14 of this Notification.
Chest (CM):Â 77cms with 5 cms expansion
2. Agniveer (Technical) (All Arms) –Â 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. OR 10+2 / intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English from any recognized State Edn Bd or Central Edn Bd to include NIOS and ITI course of min one year in required field with NSQF level 4 or above.

3. Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper (Technical) (All Arms) –Â 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English andMaths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in class XII is mandatory.

Weight (KG):Â Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standard given at para 14 of this Notification.
Chest (CM):Â 77 cms with 5 cms expansion
4. Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) 10th pass –
(i) Class 10th Simple Pass.
(ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.

Salary: –
(i) The pay & emoluments of Agniveers will be as given below :-
(aa) Year 1. Customised Package – ₹ 30,000/- (plus applicable allowances.)
(ab) Year 2. Customised Package – ₹33,000/- (plus applicable allowances.)
(ac) Year 3. Customised Package – ₹ 36,500/- (plus applicable allowances.)
(ad) Year 4. Customised Package – ₹ 40,000/- (plus applicable allowances.)

How to apply: –
a) All candidates to log in to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in check their eligibility status
and register their profile and register themselves (if not already registered).
(b) Submission of Online Application will commence from 05 Aug 2022 and close on
03 Sep 2022. Candidates can apply for one category only.
(c) Candidates will login after 01 Nov 2022 and take print out of the admit card
which they will carry to Rally Site.
(d) Candidates will be allowed to participate in the Rally only if they produce Admit Card.
