Educational Qualification:-

1. Sub Inspector (Master) –

i) 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University, and ;

ii) Second Class Master Certificate issued by the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.

2. Sub Inspector (Engine Driver) –

i) 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University, and ;

ii) First Class Engine Driver Certificate issued by the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.

3. Sub Inspector (Workshop) –

i) Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent; or

ii) Three years Diploma in Mechanical or Marine or Automobile Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

4. Head Constable (Master) –

i) Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent and ;

ii) Serang Certificate.

5. Head Constable (Engine Driver) –

i) Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent and ;

ii) Possessing llnd Class engine Driver Certificate.
6. Head Constable (Workshop) Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine) –

i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and

ii) Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Motor Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine) from a recognized institution.

7. Head Constable (Workshop) Electrician –

i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and

ii) Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Electrician from a recognized institution.

8. Head Constable (Workshop) AC Technician –

i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and

ii) Industrial Training Institute Diploma in AC Technician from a recognized institution.

9. Head Constable (Workshop) Electronics –

i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and

ii) Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Electronics from a recognized institution.

10. Head Constable (Workshop) Machinist –

i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and

ii) Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Machinist from a recognized institution.

11. Head Constable (Workshop) Carpenter –

i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and

ii) Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Carpentry from a recognized institution.

i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and

ii) Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Plumbing from a recognized institution.

13. Constable (Crew) –

i) Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent and;

ii) One year experience in operation of Boat below 265 HP and;

iii) Should know swimming in deep water without any assistance and will upload an undertaking certificate as Per Annexure ‘F’ of advertisement while submitting online application form.

4. HC (Master) – Level – 4 (Rs. 25,500 -81,100/-) in the pay matrix.
